Barbara McGregor

Barbara McGregor's first attempt at painting was with the Willowdale Group of Artists. She dabbled in oils and acrylics, but it wasn't until she moved to the Kawarthas that she was introduced to watercolour as a medium.
It was love at first sight. She loves the way the colours blend on the paper and happy accidents occur.

Barbara has been developing her skill by taking many workshops with such renowned artists as Gordon MacKenzie, Al Poolman, Edwin Matthews, Brenda Milner. Her love of the Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton is reflected in her paintings. Scenes using water as a focal point are a particular favourite way of expressing her desire to create peace and harmony in her surroundings.
Her pictures are in private collections in Canada, U.S.A. and Europe.
