Sue “Wille” Flanagan
Sue "Willie" Flanagan has been painting and creating her entire life, a self-proclaimed crafter extraordinaire who worked in the fine jewellery and craft industries before retiring early to live in cottage country on Big Bald Lake. She recently resigned as the co-director for the Buckhorn Festival of the Arts to spend more time creating, Sue is a lover of all forms of the arts and has tried them all.
Sue currently dabbles in all painting materials originally starting her journey with watercolour portraitures, then switching to acrylic and within the last 3 years has worked with wool needle felting, oil, and mixed media. During the COVID19 staycation she has taken up pottery creating garden art.
Sue has taught for many years and her next class is a wet felting vessel class at the Artisans Centre in Peterborough on October 31st. She also teaches small groups in her studio loft at her home.
