Northey's Barn Boutique Show
We are having wonderful, sunny day, with the temperature reaching 79F (26C) and a gentle breeze blowing to keep away the humidity for the first day of the Northey's Barn Boutique Show.
The show is spread out over the two upper levels of the barn. On the middle level, we have five artists exhibiting their works, while on the upper level there are art displays, pottery and photography.
Upon entering the barn the first set of grids on the left side feature a few of the works by JoAnne Connell Northey; and as you continue toward the back of the area on the left you will find a multitude of items created by Diane Collins.
The first thing that will catch your eyes are the wonderful watercolours paintings of floral and landscapes. This is followed by the many items set out on her table ranging from matted and shrink wrapped watercolours, acrylic paintings, art cards, hand painted sun visors and our favourite a basket of sock monkeys.
This is followed by the art display of Rebecca Bilcox featuring bold, vibrant acrylic paintings of landscapes, floral and still life.
She also has a number of her delightful watercolour paintings of the local landscape and animals.
On the far wall of the barn you are treated to the bold and colourful watercolour paintings by artist Ron Dejardine.
His artwork depicts a wide variety of subject matter from eye catching landscapes, brilliantly coloured floral paintings and a number of playfully depicted barnyard animals which are sure to bring a smile to all.
As you come up the right side of the wall there are the works of Pat Harvey McCourt fearueinf watercolour paintings of animals, landscape and floral..
The show continues tomorrow at the Northey's Barn Boutique, located at 1981 13th Line, in Selwyn, Ontario.
It is open from 10a.m. - 4p.m. and if you are able to attend, we look forward to seeing you.
