JoAnne Connell Northey is a nurse who has worked in many different areas, from hospitals in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Switzerland and Germany, to a nursing agency then a doctor's office in Peterborough.
She has enjoyed painting in watercolour for a number of years, having taken classes and workshops locally. Each painting is an original, done from sketches on location or from her own photos.
Each piece of pottery is hand done on the wheel, and unique.She has her own art studio and pottery studio that her husband built into their house near Peterborough.
She belongs to the Kawartha Artists' Gallery and Studio, the Buckhorn Artists' Group, and the East Central Ontario Art Association.
